LITS has completed switching Moodle's accessibility integration to a new provider called Ally.
Assistive technology and accessibility-checking features are once again available directly within Moodle, although the interface has changed slightly:
- All course participants will see ↓A (Alternative formats) icons next to course documents. Click to download alternative formats or open them in Immersive Reader or Beeline Reader.
- Instructors of record and Other editing teachers should also see:
- Dial (accessibility rating) icons next to course documents; click for info about accessibility issues and how to fix them.
- Course-level accessibility reports (click the Reports menu, and choose Accessibility), with advice on how to prioritize documents and issues that need remediation.
If aren’t seeing these features or you have any questions or concerns about using them, please contact us through the Help Desk (help@brynmawr.edu, 610-526-7440).
