      Organic Chemistry 1, section 2, with Prof. Malachowski (a.k.a. Dr. Mal, to save you lots of typing) will hold both lecture and recitation meetings in DALTON 300. 

    • How is this course diverse and inclusive? Forum

      1. I will try to learn all your names.
      2. I will assume and work to support your success in class, recitation and other course meetings.
      3. I will strive to provide clear presentations of the course content in lecture.
      4. All questions are good questions, so please ask!
      5. I will foster feedback and monitor learning with class questions.
      6. The course will focus on student needs in learning the material. In particular, extensive support materials are provided on Moodle; content is matched to pre-health professions curriculum recommendations; course materials meet ADA recommendations
      7. Peer mentoring is provided (TA) and encouraged (collaboration in your class work).
      8. Course materials (textbook and solutions guide) are available in library. Please contact me if you have difficulty in purchasing the course materials.

      In addition to my regular office hours on Wed. and Thurs. each week, which might have 5-15 students attending, I'll offer additional times through Calendly should you need help. These 15-20 minute time slots (often really closer to 30-minute meetings) can be 1-on-1 or, if you have a study partner or group, 2-on-1 or 3-on-1.
