Written Assignments_Week 2

同学们好！

1.  For this semester, all homework assignments will be collected electronically. For written assignments, please take a picture of your work, save it as a PDF document and submit it on Moodle. Detailed instructions on how to use a smart phone to scan your work may be found under "Course Documents".

2.  Homework assignment is always due on the following class with an exception to the first unit--“Introduction”, which is due by the end of the unit. Written assignments should be submitted before the class starts.  Please refer to the weekly schedule for details. 

3.   Late assignments will be downgraded, depending on how many days they are overdue. For instance, if they are one day overdue, they will be downgraded 10%, two days overdue, 20%. Assignments that are more than 7 days overdue will automatically receive a grade of zero.

4.   Turning in incomplete assignments will automatically receive a minimum of 10% deduction from the score. Homework with sloppy handwriting will also be downgraded. 

5.    For Character Workbook (CWB), you may either write your homework on a separate piece of paper or do it on the workbook. For each character, a minimum of 1 row (15 repetitions) is required.

6.     For Workbook (WB) assignments, please write on the workbook itself to avoid the extra workload of copying the original questions. For multiple choice and true/false questions, please use the answer key provided on Moodle (under “Course Documents”) to check your own work. You do not need to submit this portion of your homework. 

7.     Please follow this format to name your assignment (I'm using Lesson 1, Part 1, Bo Siya as an example.): 

 L1.1_wb1_BoSiya  (This represent the first set of  workbook assignment for Lesson 1, Part 1 from Bo Siya )

 L1.1_cwb_BoSiya (This represent Bo Siya's character workbook assignment for Lesson 1, Part 1.
