      Here you will find a sample essay in MLA format. Your first paper will be short (~3 pages double-spaced) and will not need section headings. Later in the course, you may choose to use section headings as your writing grows in length and complexity.

      If you would like to compare MLA to APA formatting, this resource will be your guide. I will accept your work in either format, provided it is done consistently and correctly.
