3 options for ArcGIS access:
1. Use LabStats and Apporto to connect to lab computers to use ArcGIS
Do this ASAP
IF you have any problems, submit a Help request to the IT help desk at Help@brynmawr.edu - put as much detail as possible in your email about what your problem is
2. On campus computers
You will need 1) a thumb drive to store all of your files or 2) access to H Drive through BMC.
3. Student License to use on your own computer - $100 for 1 year
Must install on PC or hard disk partition on Mac using Bootcamp
IMPORTANT NOTE: The student license does not include the Spatial Analyst extension, which is required for Lab 7. All other labs you can do with the student license.
TO ACTIVATE LICENSE FOR EXTENSIONS (LIKE SPATIAL ANALYST TOOLS):
Community members can manually activate the extensions themselves by using the simple instructions provided below:
Upon opening ArcGIS Pro and seeing the initial start-up screen select settings > licensing > scroll down and select "configure your licensing options" and from there simply check off whatever extensions are needed.
