In terms of how to approach readings, have an overview sense of all readings. 80% of the readings should be known well and in depth. Come to class prepared to discuss elements of readings. We will very likely discuss every reading.

- double-spaced
- page numbers
- margins 1 inch top, bottom, left, right
- 500 words minimum
5 journals should be a creative or alternative format.- ie: audio/video/visual art/movement
- some need to be accompanied by descriptions verbally or written
