    • Acquire textbook and scientific calculator.

              I'd advise finding a used 8th or 9th edition either online or from an "old-bacc". There are also electronic versions that can be purchased from the publisher. 

              Be careful of buying a paperback version because they usually don't have end-of-chapter problems in them.

    • Sign up for "Achieve"- the platform from Macmillan Learning that hosts the online homework system

              Go to https://achieve.macmillanlearning.com/courses/t9e46u

              Create an account

              Then go back to that same URL to sign up for the CHEM 103 Achieve. You do NOT need the clicker

              You will be using Achieve for CHEM 104 also so you can purchase both now if there is a discount

    • Complete the following assignments on Achieve by 9:00 AM on Thursday June 1 (prior to our first class meeting) -they will count as bonus homework points
