There is one prompt in this oral exam. 

You need to demonstrate the ability to respond spontaneously to a question. Memorized responses will not be counted towards this oral exam. Responding to the prompt provided in the attachment, it is ok to pause, rephrase, use circumlocution, or to not finish your phrases, when another idea needs to be developed. To best prepare for the exam, you need to learn and practice the vocabulary of the unit and actively participate in class discussions. Once you are ready to take the exam, please open the prompt in the attachment, read the article, take a minute or two to collect your thoughts and record your answer. You are not allowed to discuss the contents of this oral exam with anyone.   

Evaluation rubric:

CONTENT: 30 points maximum

ACCURACY: 15 points

PRONUNCIATION and INTONATION: 20 points

MASTERY OF UNIT VOCABULARY and PHRASES: 30 points

MODE of RESPONDING (no reading, one response is between 2 and 5 minutes): 5 points.
