Completion requirements
Opened: Monday, June 27, 2022, 9:00 AM
Due: Tuesday, July 26, 2022, 11:30 AM

The oral exam is based on an excerpt from an interview with Simon Sinek. Please watch the entire interview first (taking notes of the interview is ok), then read the questions and respond to them.

Please answer the prompts orally. Do not write anything down, do not read off a script (I can tell when you do). Read the prompt, take a few seconds to gather your thoughts, and record your response. This is spontaneous speech, it is ok when there are false starts, pauses, and circumlocutions.

Once you are ready to take the exam, please open the prompt in the attachment, take a minute or two to collect your thoughts and record your answer. You are not allowed to discuss the contents of this oral exam with anyone.

Good luck!

Evaluation rubric:

CONTENT: 30 points maximum

ACCURACY: 15 points

PRONUNCIATION and INTONATION: 20 points

MASTERY OF UNIT VOCABULARY and PHRASES: 30 points

MODE of RESPONDING (no reading, one response is between 2 and 5 minutes): 5 points
