Final Performance

10-15 mins

Your final performances—either solo or in groups of your choosing—should build upon the methods developed in our performance provocations to compose an original creative work. These should be no more than 15 mins in length. While you are welcome to repurpose text from any of our theoretical readings, plays, or viewings, you should not think of this as “staging a scene” from a play but “staging a conversation” with one or more of these texts. You should take up one or two of the feminist dramaturgical strategies developed in our glossary to offer an original creative work that sets these strategies into motion in three-dimensional space.
