In addition to crafting your own feminist staging, you will write a 10 page paper, double-spaced, that explores the use of one or two of the feminist dramaturgical strategies from our glossary by one of our artists. You should select the same strategy or strategies that you deploy in your own performance, but the ways that this strategy is taken up the artist you chose to analyze should be distinct. Your paper should have a clear argument about how this artist deploys this strategy in order to stage a feminist intervention. This means your paper should use both feminist analysis to identify the political work of this performance as well as performance analysis to identify the specific theatrical choices that enact these politics onstage. 

You will submit a draft and revise this draft. Only your revision is graded, but your draft is required. Points docked for late drafts will be applied to your final paper grade.
