My name is Krista! I am taking this course because my goal post-grad is to work with kids and teens. Going into school I was set on being an adolescent therapist, but now I'm expanding that dream into possibly including some work in schools/as a school social worker and with younger kids as well. Before Bryn Mawr I was a teacher in SDP and Radnor (at Central HS and Radnor MS), and I studied secondary education & adolescent psychology in undergrad at Swarthmore. This past year (and still right now!) I worked at Mastery's Hardy Williams Middle School, and next year I'll be working at UArts with undergrad students. Every week before class I'll be coming straight from work at Hardy so I'm sure I'll have lots of kid-related stories to tell :)
