Hi all! My name is James, and I'm taking this course because I worked a lot with teenagers in my field placement this past year, and it's been one of the best things I've ever done. Going into graduate school, I had no idea what population I wanted to work with, but I was fairly certain it wasn't youth, and boy, was I wrong about that. I have an Associate's degree in Elementary Education and a bachelor's in Early Childhood Education (which is why I hoped to change paths a little, haha), and in taking this class I really hope to expand my skill set and knowledge base regarding child/adolescent development and therapy.
