Evolutionary biologist Malin Ah King wrote this open access Perspectives article in Nature Communications highlighting the pervasive gender bias among researchers studying sexual selection (which we talk about a month into the semester). She points out how that gender bias impacts the scientific approaches to studying sexual selection.
