As the semester is drawing to a close, we wanted to issue a few reminders:

  1. Final grades: Moodle does NOT feed any data back into Bionic. Instructors must manually enter final grades into Bionic in order for them to be officially recorded. Please contact the Registrar's Office if you have any questions.
  2. Archiving course materials: We have added two plugins -- Download Center and Export to Portofolio -- to make end-of-semester archiving easier.
    • Students: please save copies of course materials you may need outside of Moodle, as LITS cannot guarantee access to courses beyond the end of the semester. Documents that former students have requested include include a syllabi and copies of coursework to use for graduate school and award applications.
    • Teachers: Although LITS guarantees your courses will remain on Moodle for at least two years (and usually longer), it may be easier to organize and manage files you reuse often, such as readings outside of Moodle.
