Hello Hunter. I was reading your short essay and I sympathize with what you are saying. I dont really have pets but it is similar to letting go of someone you are bonding well with, and I know that misreading the situation can cause things to go bad so dont be too hard on yourself but Im glad that you made a decision that was the best for your family based on what you observed. I hope Barkley is doing well and that Doug managed to find a new home!
