2. Complete the following in prep for our next class discussion. Flow through working alone and with your partner as you decided together.

·      How is the work (movement, media, and or text) we are doing in the being/body in Diasporic Beings/Bodies, Citizenship, and Dance or in your own lived experiences shaping your thinking or values in the areas of radical blackness, feminism, womanism, intersectionality, abolition, and/or fugitivity? 10 minutes

·      Create and record a gesture or movement phrase that interprets, reflects on, responds to, or demonstrates some aspect of your response to the above question. Post on our instagram page with a text phrase. If you really don’t want it on Instagram let me know. 5 minutes

·      Upload written portions on moodle here or as a part of your journal later. If you choose the 2nd option please let me know that is what you have chosen in your journal. Please put your name, date, and course on your work. 5 minutes

·      If you have time to spare, make a list of and describe the movement generating/making methods we have experienced in class.
