You'll want to use a few types of image editing software. Photoshop (edits pixels, and is good for creating or modifying an image) and Illustrator (edits vectors, which is good for creating the lines that you'll use to make cuts with our printer plotter).

HOWEVER! You might not have these programs on your computer. These are generally accessible on computers on campus, but with social distancing this might present a challenge. We can access lab software *remotely* using Apporto (https://brynmawr.apporto.com/), and the Adobe products are located on the Mac desktop (you don't need to be using a Mac to use these).

We'll mainly be using Photoshop and Illustrator in the Makerspace, but there are lots of free, freemium, or less expensive programs, and most programs (including the Adobe products) have trial subscriptions that can be useful. A google search for "photoshop/illustrator alternatives" will give you some good places to start-- feel free to hop into the forum to talk about any software questions  you might have!

We have one lab computer available in the Makerspace, and you are welcome to schedule time to use it in person.
