Hey y'all! My name is Sharon and I'm planning to major in Psychology and minor in Visual Studies at Haverford. I'm from the Greater Northeast Area of Philadelphia so I'm not far from Haverford. Philly is a great place with many fun activities and events taking place all over the city. Something I really love about Philly is how hardcore our sports fans are and how much they love Philly sports despite our constant mistakes(iykyk). I also love all the different places to get food! The Reading Terminal is amazing. Something I really dislike about Philly is the constant dehumanization of people who are houseless around the city and the infrastructure being created to keep them out of certain spaces. 
Hey Sharon! Anti-Homeless Infrastructure is such a big issue that often goes unnoticed, I'm glad you mentioned it! :)
I've seen a lot of that in Philly, especially in places like University City. There's a lot of interesting stuff going on with the homelessness encampment and Occupy PHA right now though, which is cool to see.
