In my experience, one of the hardest things about working with a child is working with their family - it's hard to navigate extremely complex family systems and also advocate for the child and their wellbeing. I wonder about Bromfield's approach to religion, and I wonder how open he is with his clients' families about the work they do together. For some children, deviating even slightly from their parents' religion can be dangerous, and for others, religion is a part of who they are (here I'm thinking of Jewish and Muslim people). I don't know if I have a specific question, I just think it's important for me as a clinician who is white and was raised Christian to be careful when interacting with minority religions.
