In Bromfield's Chapter 11, it says, "most children, like most grown people, tend to turn away from painful and difficult parts of their lives unless somehow pushed or otherwise motivated." What are some ways to gently push and not just motivate, but inspire people to be transparent/vulnerable over time with more people (besides fostering a safe space). How do we help children/clients build trust for the world if/when their trust was broken at a young age?
