Hello! My name is Gabe Adels (he/him/his.) I'm currently working in the Philadelphia public schools as an aide for a 4th grader with ADHD, via my organization, PHMC. I really enjoy working with children and could see myself pursuing this route, perhaps as a guidance counselor or school therapist. My background before starting Bryn Mawr was in construction, where I worked for a number of years restoring hundred-year-old houses (including my own.) My field placement last year was at St. Barnabas Community Resource Center at 60th and Girard in West Philly. where I didn't get much clinical experience. This year, I have an employment based placement through my job in the schools. My hobbies include hiking with my dog, writing music, and all things basketball.
