Hi, my name is Melissa and I am interested in learning about clinical practice with children and adolescents in part because I’ve worked with kids a lot through different educational jobs, including public programming at a museum, and currently teach marital arts to children. I am really interested to view this work through a social work lens. I also hope to get experience working with a teen anxiety and depression group at my internship at Jewish Family Services in the Fall. My previous generalist year internship was at Cancer Support Community Delaware. In my free time, I like to take my dog on walks, be outside in nature, work on writing projects, and spend time with family and friends.
