I like how you distinguished the value of both the closed exploratory group and the open-ended support group. I felt more sold on their take of the closed exploratory group. Nonetheless, in my work at the inpatient rehab leading groups for women, I saw how the open-ended support group was the only option as the average stay was 21 days. For me, using psychoeducation regarding trauma helped make the groups riveting.
