C: I think it's interesting that this idea of seprating the art from the artist has been prevleant for so long, especially looking at media now and how it has kind of become the opposite. In this quote he is saying that even though his work may be controversial that doesn't mean he is, but I feel now it is more so the person is controversial and the question becomes whether or not to support their work and revaluating the works impact and importance in the culture.
Q: I think the point he makes about why were are able to take some things lightheartedly while others we aren't still holds true, so why is it that certain contexts of a work (ex. whether it is written or performed) affects so deeply how we interpet it?
