Q:How do public and private libraries play a role in the presence of third spaces in a modern and historical context?

C: I found the section in Ryholts writing really interesting where he describes the use of different scripts and how they correlate to different levels of formality of context. That reminded me of a conversation in my German class about the way formality in script is still changing in a modern sense.

Q: "As in the Ezida temple, hymns, incantations and rituals dominate (45% of the corpus), but omens comprise just 7% of the extant tablets. Medical recipes (11%) and word lists (7%) survive in somewhat similar proportions to Kalhu, but the most noticeable difference is the relatively large percentage of literary works (15%). Over fifty manuscripts of many of the great Akkadian classics" (Robson, 2013, 49)
