Forum for posting comments outside of class meetings
Forum for posting comments outside of class meetings
Completion requirements
To start off discussion on this forum, I would like each person by the third week of the term to post a few sentences about the "lens" they are going to use during the term to talk about Woolf's works. You can post these sentences by clicking on "add a new discussion topic" and then write a bit about your lens. You might just say you are writing about World War I and describe some of the general ways people in England reacted to the war or you might find comments Woolf made about the war. If you are writing about her style, you might provide some of your observations about her style, or you might find some comments others have made about her style. You should make an entry only a few sentences or, say, a paragraph. Don't copy a 30 page article.
All term long, you can feel free to react to what someone else has written. To do that, you click on their post and then click on "reply". Your reply will be posted. You can also add new discussion topics if you want to start a new discussion of something not brought up before. The forum might become a kind of secondary discussion going on alongside class meetings.
