Hi everyone! My name is Ava Blumer and I am a first year student at Bryn Mawr. I'm actually from the town of Bryn Mawr and have lived here for most of my life :) I'm super into all types of art, photography, and I love to read. I also like being outdoors and doing activities like hiking and camping.

I'm planning on being a cities major because the whole concept fascinates me. I love traveling and experiencing the cultures of different cities. I'm so excited to start this course and learn what the cities program here is like!

I can so relate to being fascinated by the cities major! I enjoy learning about people and how we work together and what could be better, but I also loved how we look at the more artist side of cities. This major is putting my design and structure together in such a cool way! Can't wait to meet you in class.

Probably the coolest place I've ever traveled to is Italy. I have a lot of family there so I've been twice so far! I've been to Rome, Venice, Florence, and Bari :)

Hi Eva! I come to the town of Bryn Mawr because I go to college here! Over the past three years, I feel that Bryn Mawr (the town) is really a small, quiet but friendly place. Just feel so curious about how do you think and feel about the town Bryn Mawr, as someone who has been here for a long time?

I would definitely agree that Bryn Mawr is small, quiet, and friendly. I would also say there's a pretty nice sense of community here, which makes it a very nice place to grow up!

Hey Ava! I'm not very familiar with the Bryn Mawr/Haverford area. Do you have any recommendations for cool coffee/hang out spots or must-do activities?

Well my favorite coffee shop around here is Green Engine Coffee near Haverford (it's super adorable)! There's also Suburban Square in Ardmore and the King of Prussia mall which is a little further but definitely worth checking out!
