Hi everyone, my name is Jack and I'm a sophomore at Haverford. I'm currently a prospective political science major but I'm also considering adding a major in Cities. I'm in the Bi-Co orchestra, quiz bowl, and intramural tennis.

I am from Minneapolis, Minnesota (I live near Lake of the Isles in Uptown, for any Twin Cities people in the class). One of my favorite things about Minneapolis is the outdoor space in the city and the creative use of that space. In the summer, people walk, bike, kayak, and more throughout the city's parks. During the winter, those parks become skating rinks, cross-country skiing tracks, and ice fishing spots.

Hi, Jack

I'm Madi. I have a genuine question. Have you ever gone ice fishing? For the longest time I didn't know it was a real thing (I mean I knew it was a real thing but like in the way that you know rotary phones are a real thing)  and it sounds like so much fun but I know nothing about it. I assume it's just fishing with ice. Is it as fun as normal fishing or does the ice add an extra fun element?

Hey Madi! I've never actually gone ice fishing, but I've seen people doing. It honestly seems like it just kind of sucks because it's fishing but it's like 0˚ out. Some people though have super fancy ice fishing sheds with heating and couches and stuff and that seems like it would be fun
