It was very nice to meet you all yesterday! Reading everybody's responses and interest, I feel the need to start the class with the 1300s (Trecento) a bit before diving into the 1400s (Quattrocento) in Florence, to think more about the start of the Renaissance and departure from the medieval period.

Instead, I'm going to reduce the length of the original reading assignments. Please read only until page 64 of the Campbell, before the section on Nanni di Banco and Donatello.
While all content in Hemsoll is helpful, I also want to clarify that the class tomorrow will mainly cover three architectural sites--Florence Cathedral, the Old Sacristy of San Lorenzo, and the Ospedale degli Innocenti (Hospital of the Innocents), if you need priorities.
