The workplace was heavily covered as a main domain of life under the scrutiny of surveillance. In Lyon, the military was also mentioned due to the involvement the military often has with the surveillance of citizens. Though it was touched upon, I feel that the prevalence the internet in the modern world is an area that was not extensively covered. As technology becomes more and more prevalent in every day life, the information collected on people continues to grow.
Overall, I felt that the texts gave a good basis to the ideas and definitions of surveillance, as well as how the concept of surveillance has shifted over the years.
