Since this is my first praxis course, this will be my first experience working with students. On one hand, my own inexperience does make me slightly nervous. I know that there will be an adjustment period in which I struggle to get my footing and must adapt to my host educator's teaching methods. However, I am excited to have the opportunity to apply the material I learn in this course into a classroom setting under the guidance of an experienced educator. In most courses I take, it is rare that I get to experience the real-world application of the practices I am taught in the midst of learning them. For this reason, I am excited to see how experiencing fieldwork in a classroom could deepen my understanding of the material taught in this course.
