Hey Kayla, I think my appreciation for cities and architecture did not stem from growing up in a rural area, but rather going to bigger places like Portland, Maine, Boston, MA, and NYC. Going from such a small town to seeing high rises and real downtowns with streets with sidewalks was intriguing.
