My name is Jake Zimmerman, I am a junior computer science major at Haverford College. I played varsity soccer for the first two years of college but recently quit. On campus, I am now just a TA so if you're taking 231: Discrete Mathematics I’ll see you there. I am from a small town about an hour outside of Philadelphia called New Hope. It’s a tight-knit “touristy” town in Bucks County. One of its most iconic sites is the bridge from downtown New Hope to Lambertville(a neighboring city across the Delaware river in New Jersey). It has abandoned trains, scenic outlooks, and plenty of restaurants for every sort of crowd. New Hope has a few neighborhoods scattered throughout the town, a shopping center, and an aforementioned downtown area with an artsy feel to it.
Hi Jake, I have been staying in New Jersey with my aunt over the past few months and we're actually pretty close to New Hope! I think i've visited once, but I'm more familiar with the Princeton area since it's a lot more closer and the beaches. I definitely want to visit other places in jersey though!
Hey Jake, I was wondering what made you interested in taking this course since you're a computer science major, and not a cities major?
